I write, proof-read and edit for professionals and they don’t have the time for fluff or the patience for mistakes.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and passed the examination at the Proofreading Academy for my continuing professional development.

I held in-house roles in Sydney and briefly in London, my early career in book and magazine publishing, and later in fairly complex administrative positions encompassing editorial project work in the medical sector.

Currently, I am employed to copy-edit and proofread a peer-reviewed journal for the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. I also work for Quality Proofreading UK on academic material.

I savor the deep variety within the English language—as you write it and as I improve it.
