As a communication specialist, I have worked with both business partners and corporate communication teams to develop strategic communication plans, and design and implement effective communications tactics. I have provided strategic internal and external communication counsel and support to senior leaders.
I work effectively, managing multiple projects with minimal supervision, while ensuring budget compliance, and achievement of strategic communication objectives. I have maintained and fostered effective working relationships with business partners.
Previously, I was an independent contractor, working with major corporations in Michigan. As an independent communication specialist, I am accustomed to creating and developing content material for a variety of projects. My experience includes writing in the form of video scripts, press releases, web content, and news reports. I have managed public relations for three non-profit organizations. As a director, I have coached executives in their on-camera presentations and managed projects and teams.
