Hello! I'm a writer and photographer living in the small northern Minnesota community of Crosslake. Now a freelance writer, I have two years' experience as a full-time reporter and photographer for a weekly community newspaper. At the newspaper I wrote business features, human interest stories, social issues stories, hard news and everything in between.

I also have a four-year degree in creative writing from Colorado State University.

I'm an excellent researcher and ready to write an article, blog post or feature to capture your audience's attention and inform them on any topic.

My other interests include outdoor adventure, such as kiteboarding, winter camping, canoeing and biking, poetry, yoga, bird watching and baking.
