After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University, I began writing as a hobby and curated a blog about my experiences with marriage, motherhood, chronic illness, and major life events. My pet project has seen many transformations over the years, but I currently run a similar page discussing many of the same topics, as well as divorce and dating after a long marriage. I have published a book of essays about motherhood, and completed a draft of a book on minimalism, especially as it relates to those with significant life challenges like illness. In the last several years I've taken on an ambitious historical fiction project set in pre-revolution Russia.
My interests are varied, my style is adaptable, and my enthusiasm is unmatched, no matter the topic. Diving head-first into a new topic, becoming an expert, and sharing my knowledge in an accessible format is something I do for fun. Switching between a project that requires humor and a list article with life advice comes easily, and I dedicate the same level of attention to every project I take.
