The main gist is I love the written word! Here's why:
I have an extreme case of dyslexia, though it's not the most common problem associated with the term. I'm dyslexic in the way that there is a guaranteed lag in my reading comprehension. When I was tested in 2nd grade (where I still was at a reading level lower than kindergarden) they discovered my disability. My parents were then informed there was no way to fix it other than having to work harder to be average. However, I've worked my butt off to get where I am without anybody in school (elementary-college) knowing about my flaw and without any accommodations. It may have been the dedication I had to apply to writing and reading, but I fell in love. You learn to appreciate the things you have to work for.
After I graduated college, I started work at a digital development company where I and the copywriter, reporter, and proofreader. I write creatively in my free time.

Both short and long term projects accepted.
