I am an experienced technical writer. I worked as a technical writer for a digital design company called VeriBest. I wrote user guides, quick starts and online help. I also converted books to online books. This was before modern ebooks existed.

I went on to work as a technical writer and then a Web developer for Sun Microsystems. I wrote project documentation. I then went on to designing, developing and maintaining internal websites.

I also developed several Websites, wrote a cook book and converted it to an ebook as a freelancer.

Both the technical writing work and the Web design work gave me the experience I needed to be quite adept at lovely looking layout and creating attractive graphics on a budget if needed.

Because of my mix of writing experience and Web development experience, I have the skill set required to convert books into attractive ebooks. The coding in ebooks is original HTML (before the change to CSS), which I can read and write fluently. This allows me to be able to fix any problems ebook converters may make.

I have a bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California at Davis.
