Experienced writer who's just getting started in the freelance world.

My name is Katie and I've been writing in some form or fashion my entire life. In high school I spent most of my free time as an editor in the Journalism department, then I earned a B.S. in Journalism from the University of North Texas with minors in English/Writing and Marketing. For the past 8 years I've worked in advertising and recently enrolled in the Masters of Library and Information Science program at UNT as well.

Work Terms

You can contact me any time either through Guru or at thestinsonianlibrary@gmail.com. I tend to check these every morning and usually a couple times throughout the day. Since I am in school, I would prefer at least 72 hours notice of any job deadline, however anything needing a faster turnaround can be discussed in a case-by-case basis. Since I'm just starting out I'm also willing to negotiate my rate, also on a case-by-case basis.
