atiuska migrated from Lima, Peru at a young age. She rapidly learned English and received a full scholarship to attend University of California, Santa Cruz. Katiuska is dreamer who is passionate to support underrepresented communities. Katiuska is constantly inspired by the strength and resiliency of immigrant families to overcome challenges. Katiuska has advocacy and community organizing skills in a variety of issues as immigrant rights, education access, housing access, anti-displacement efforts, women's rights, divestment from private prisons and detention centers, gun control and more.

Katiuska has dedicated her professional and educational career to public service as a way to empower low-income communities of color. In the fall of 2016, Katiuska left California to work in Washington, DC at Senator Feinstein’s office completing research in health, immigration, and education. Katiuska received the UC Presidential Public service award and became a Matsui Fellow. During college, Katiuska volunteered her time as a translator at multiple local immigration legal clinics inspiring her interest on becoming an attorney. Her passion for advocacy influenced her to become a community organizing consultant to support local community organizations and non-profits. Katiuska also completed an investigator position at the Santa Cruz Public Defender Office and have experience completing legislative research and writing.

Katiuska graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A in Legal studies and Politics. As consultant, Katiuska has worked with non profits, businesses, leaders and political candidates to increase their impact in the community through marketing, community outreach efforts and effective trainings. Katiuska completed a UCLA Law fellowship and got accepted to attend University of California, San Francisco, School of Law in 2019 and hopes to continue being an advocate for her community.

Hours are flexible, hourly rate is negotiable depending on the service. I am able to support non profits and community organizations with community organizing trainings, event planning, policy advocacy, media engagement, community engagement, political campaigning, campaign development and mapping sessions, legal writing, translation services from Spanish to English or English to Spanish, social media engagement, public speaking, youth development, curriculum development, developing marketing materials, leadership development, civic engagement, legal research, grant writing and fundraising.
