Hello! My name is Kaysha but my friends call me Kay as it is easier to pronounce. 10 years ago, 2014 to 2019, I worked as a medical transcriptionist office-based. That work alone enhanced my typewriting skills, active listening skills, keen and attentive to details and instructions as we are dealing with the safety of patients and one minor mistake on a patient's profile may put her life at stake. Right now I am working as a care worker overseas and deciding to go home for good and look after my children. Going home is not an easy decision because i will start again from scratch. I have learned about virtual assistance and so I was encouraged to take an online lesson with coaching for me to have a knowledge on how VA industry works. I enrolled to a well-known training and consulting company whereas I learned a lot of things about VA, job categories under it and what are the tools commonly used by the workers. As full-time worker I was able to apply my time management skills on how to submit requirements before the deadline, self efficient and patient enough to search on things that I don't understand, watching more videos about VA to gain more knowledge and idea. What I really enjoyed about this is despite the challenge on how to manage my time, I did never tell myself to give up and persevere more to learn and get that VA certificate that I am aiming for in the first place. I really enjoyed designing my portfolios in canva, wix and flodesk as well. I may be a beginner to this profession but I am willing to learn, to gain more training if it is needed to elevate my skills, by doing so I will be able to produce quality outputs to my clients.

Work Terms

I am looking for a remote, part-time job about 30hours in a week, a flexible one where I can start the project after my regular work. A project where I can do at once during my day offs or something that I can do at a later time.
