I'm a Japanese-American currently living in Japan. I graduated from City College of New York last January, earning my bachelor's degree. I read/write/speak native level English and N1 level Japanese.

As for experience, I've been working as a freelance Social Media Translator since November of last year. The company sends me a cluster of Japanese twitter feeds, and then I translate them within a set period of time. This job is done remotely.

I'm also experienced as an interpreter. The most recent job was for an organization called Hidankyo, "the only national organization of A-bomb survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (Hibakusha) in Japan" (quote from their official website). I was their designated interpreter for whenever their delegates visited New York City to speak to consulates from other countries.

Another experience I have, that's related to my writing abilities, is when I wrote for a Japanese newspaper column. The column was mainly a section for book reviews, where I wrote about any books I had recently read.
