I am self-motivated and progress driven. I am a hard worker, a fast learner, and I enjoy taking on new responsibilities. Recently, I decided to leave the profession of teaching to pursue my passion for writing.

As part of my previous roles, I had to write reports, action plans, newsletters, emails, teacher training material, and model texts for students. I have gained valuable proofreading and editing skills, and I have taught myself to write in various styles for a variety of purposes. I work fast until the job is done, and I seek nothing but excellence in my writing. I am an absolute perfectionist and love working until the job is done.

I have spent the past seven years traveling in Europe and Asia, and I am keen to do more (when COVID allows it). I enjoy doing outdoor activities and love the thrill of a new activity. Growing up, I spent my winters skiing and snowboarding and my summers participating in various water sports. On previous trips, I have enjoyed white water rafting, tubing, canyoning, kayaking, surfing, scuba diving, sailing, high-ropes courses, and much more!

In my previous role, I exercised skills in communication, critical thinking, and training and consistently contributed to team efforts and organizational improvements. I am open-minded and focused on new developments in this field. I have proven to be effective and motivational, with proficiency in leadership and collaborative work. I enjoy brainstorming and coordinating efforts to achieve a common goal.

I am currently living in Thailand but will be moving back to Canada. I am entirely comfortable working as part of a remote team, and I have high motivation to meet my commitments. I do not like to let myself or my team down.

This global pandemic has allowed me to evaluate my life and decide what is truly important to me. I feel independence is as extremely valuable asset to have and pursuing a freelance career will allow me to flourish.
