Kenneth Ochieng works as the County Chief Officer for Public Works and Infrastructue Developmemt at The County Government of Homa Bay. He graduated in Moi University in the year 2004 with a B.Tech (Hons) Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering. In 2015 he graduated with Master of Arts Degree in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi. He is currenty undertaking a Master of Science Degree in Construction Engineering & Management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). He has undetaken Senior Management Course (SMC) as well as Strategic Leadership Development Program (SLDP) at the Kenya School of Government. He also a Certified Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning practitioner from the University of Nairobi in Collaboration with the Regional Centre for Project Mangaement and Evaluation Training. Ochieng has over 18 years post graduation experience of service both in Private sector and Public Sector agencies. He is an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with extensive knowledge and experience in designing, managing, directing, and monitoring small- and large-scale Civil Engineering Projects. Having the ability to support multiple concurrent priorities, Kenneth can establish, maintain and develop effective working relationships with service users, operational teams, delivery partners, and colleagues. He possesses a broad range of technical, personal effectiveness, and leadership skills and uses rigorous logic and methods to devise practical solutions to complex problems. As someone comfortable with and able to cope effectively with change, he has a long track record of making the best use of available resources and techniques. Having served in various senior management positions in Government, Kenneth has a vast experience in Government operations.
