Young Professional Who's Making Her Mark in The Media World Through Relevant and Empowering Content
Kenya R. Nalls is a native of Gary, Indiana who has been making her mark on the media world through relevant and empowering content. After completing her journalism degree at Lincoln University of Missouri—an HBCU—she founded ACTION Magazine, a contemporary, faith-based publication for young adults. Fast-forward to 2018, Kenya’s creative vision was inspired to jump headfirst into the digital landscape and launch The L.O.O.P. Magazine (Live it Own it Obtain it on Purpose), a uniquely app-based editorial. The inspiration behind the publication’s name came about from the personal prompt to strive to fulfill purpose amidst fear, failure, setbacks, or uncertainty. Convinced that this reminder needed to be shared with other twenty and thirty-somethings, Kenya stood on her faith, as well as the confidence in her craft, and birthed her sophomore magazine project. She is passionate about cultivating positive and insightful resources for young professionals and go-getters to be inspired by. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and currently resides in Indiana.
