Scripts, stories, voice acting, articles, and video editing- all with kindness and devotion!
Why, hello there! I suppose this is the part where I talk about myself. I'll try not to bore you!
Got my film degree from Columbia College Chicago, cut my teeth on web productions, indie films, and video games.
I'm a writer at heart, scripts being my usual cup of tea. I've written a few features, some webseries episodes, and an upcoming indie game. I've also written a few articles for various sites (i.e. Cracked.com and the Free Games Blog), and dabble in prose here and there.
However, I can never deny my penchant for voice acting and video editing. When I premiered as a voice actress online, I found myself in the shoes of many characters. My editing skill have also been well-regarded, landing me a job as a freelance editor for an educational website (which in turn got me a screenwriting gig at the same place).
But just in case you're interested in the lady behind the portfolio: I spend my free time working on scripts, video games (playing and making), articles, and animations. I've been called a "culture junkie," which I think fits me perfectly. Also, I like sushi and dogs.
Work Terms
I prefer to work between 9AM to 6PM during weekdays, but putting in overtime isn't too far-fetched! I normally operate on Eastern Standard Time, but if it's really that dire that we need to meet at 3AM my time, I only ask that you not mind me being drowsy and drinking coffee. (And maybe not do video calls. I look terrible when I first wake up.)
I can commute up to 50 miles from where I live (Buchanan, MI), but remote is the absolute best for me. Email, skype, or any other online platform is your best bet, but phone calls will work in an pinch.
As for payment, I'd prefer half now/half later, but I'm not too stingy! More often than not, I will be willing to at least discuss negotiating my price, but I will have to only take jobs that offer fair compensation. ($50 for a ten-page script? That's fine! $50 for ten thirty-paged scripts. We...will likely have issues.) For hourly jobs, I can go as low as $13 an hour, which I'm told is a competitive price.
