Graphic Design and Illustration that is about Balance.

I live in Long Beach, California, and have been creating art and graphic design professionally for 25 years. I spent summers at the Art Center College of Design while earning a BFA in painting from Concordia University in Montréal, and was owner of a children’s bedding design business, ellabalou. Over the years I have produced a large body of graphics, textiles and illustration, work that has been described as fresh, clean and playful. The last ten years I have spent as Senior Designer for a high-end Southern California beauty business, a position that has encompassed both print and digital media. I am detail-oriented, a believer in a less-can-be-more approach to graphic design, and have honed my skills generating modern, simple print pieces and image-rich email campaigns, social media posts and website graphics. I am compelled by color, clean line and what happens when varying elements are put together perfectly.

15-day terms upon project completion.
