I'm a professional writer in any capacity. I also do advanced editing, dependent on the requirements of the client.
My name is Kevin Bennett. I'm a novelist with three in the pipe and one on the market, "The Thief and the Sacrifice". I have a Bachelor's degree, and I work by day as either a content-writer for Zerys.com, a substitute teacher, or a stand-up comedian. I also have a band that does gigs on the side, and I'm a regular at local musical events around town.
Since starting with Zerys.com May 28th, 2015, I've written over six-hundred articles on a variety of topics from dating to medical equipment, legal matters, insurance, business, and real estate companies, and everything in between. I've even written some chapters of a high school textbook.
I write quickly and professionally.
Work Terms
I require at least twenty-four hours before a job must be turned in. I can do it sooner, but I can't guarantee that it'll be done sooner. I prefer to have at least a one day cushion on any assignment. That said, I will definitely take a job of that variety if I've got the free time.
Writing isn't like other things, in that revision and word-count change how long it actually takes to compose a given bit of prose. For example: I can type ninety words a minute, but unless I'm transcribing, I won't be able to coherently produce anything. However if I pay attention to what I'm producing, I can churn out about 1800 words an hour. But those articles aren't the most deftly researched, and are only used as content-buffers when the need arises. Conventionally, I'd take about two hours to do 1800 words. My fee would be between three and ten cents a word, depending on the article. If the article is a quick write-up of a company's goods and service, I'm more likely to turn it out for you at three cents a word. However if you need technical specs on a piece of equipment, or anything else that requires solid research, the price is more likely to rise. At three cents a word, a three hundred word article would be $9. At ten cents a word, the same article would be $30. But technical writing is definitely worth the additional payment. You want to know it's been done accurately, and that every fact mentioned is correct, etc.
