Get it right the first time

For close to twenty years, I have provided illustration graphic design, and creative, production to a wide variety of clients. Through my company Kid With A Crayon Art and Design, which was set set up as a graphic design/illustration/production umbrella organization, I've gained a broad range of experience.New challenges, new opportunities, change and progression. I am a firm believer that illustration/design is more than the process of simply decorating a page. It's strong visual imagery that reflects each client's message and identity, a full measure of quality not quantity. With 20 years experience, I feel I have the initiative, creativity and drive necessary to face these challenges and to offer and organization or individual a resource from which can draw.
From children's books to book jackets, brochures, annual reports to ads, pdfs to posters, my work reflects the keen desire to "get it right" for both the client and the user. Concept development through to completion.

Work Terms

For illustrations:Full deposit into Guru escrow to begin work.50% of payment due upon delivery of preliminary sketches.No additional fee for one round of alterations to preliminary sketches .Subsequent alterations charged at $50.00 per hour.Upon approval of preliminary sketches final illustrations are completed.Balance of payment for project due upon delivery of final images.For book design and layout:Full deposit into Guru escrow to begin work.50% of payment due upon delivery of preliminary layout and design.No additional fees for two rounds of edits (author alterations).Subsequent alterations charged at $50.00 per hour.Balance of payment for project due upon delivery of final images.
