Located in MD, United States, I've been drawing, painting and doing small sculpture work seriously since 2005. I've had my artwork showcased in several small galleries throughout the state of MD, with a Governors Citation for Excellence in the field of Arts.
I'm very interested in video games, cartoons, animals and solid, expressive works. My artwork typically reflects similar subjects and emotions, my goal is to put emphasis on mood and theme within my more extensive work and to convey strong emotions throughout my portfolio.
Influences include familiar figures in animation and illustration such as Tex Avery, Max Fleischer, Edward Gorey, Lauren Faust, and Tim Schaefer's works in the games industry.
I'm an avid adventure and fantasy gamer, and I am seeking work in the illustration or character artist field, I was a gamer before I learned how to ride a bike and believe strongly that video games are art. And that the art in combination with story and gameplay drives the emotions of the characters in a way that resonates with the player and makes them both more realistic, relateable and memorable, that is what I want to do.
