- ESPRIT, IN THE SPIRIT OF FREEDOM. -
In my works I am looking for that intersection where the relative liberation of materials and the illusory evanescence of our perceived world meet.
I have a wide range of interests, I graduated as a sculptor, which deepened my knowledge of illustration and anatomy as well. My materials include metals; iron, steel, bronze, as well as glass, light, large- sized graphics, and I like to paint on walls, paper, anything.
Previously finished the textile program of a fine arts school, and later my own clothing brand was born under the name "Manon" on which my own designs appear.
I have organized several festivals and performances.
My greatest strength is that if something arouses my interest then I am flooded with ideas and I'm not afraid to look follow them up or formulate my opinion.
I love everything that is new, strange, striking, avant-garde, but I can also find and define myself in everyday harmony.
I love to travel. When I roam the limitlessness of roads I feel I can only recharge in such an environment, it is the inspiration for my works.
It is like breathing to me.
I like occult philosophy and fantasy, walking in the forest, seeking out mysteries and I like prehistoric history.
I feel an unspecified attraction to ancient Egyptian culture.
And sometimes I like to have fun and laugh freely with my friends.
Work Terms
When clients order something I ask them to describe what they have in mind, and then I sketch my ideas, usually representing several approaches and I send them these sketches. There is still plenty of opportunity for alteration in this period, after mutual communication.
Having agreed on the final version, I proceed to work out the still necessary details.
My work is usually not quantifiable on an hourly basis but after the initial brainstorming I tend to work fast.
Terms of payment; the first half of the agreed sum is due before the creative part of the design process begins, and the second half within one week of the completion of the project. If new details or requirements emerge then the initial agreement has to be renegotiated, within reasonable bounds.
I prefer email for communication because this interferes least with my creative working style. But I can also be reached on phone when a sudden immediate decision necessitates it.
