To explore the soul, one only needs to touch the pen to paper.
I fell in love with literature in college and added an English major. That unexpectedly took me into the classroom for over 20 years where I found the more I taught about writing, the more I learned and loved to write. This led to organizing 'coffeehouses' for student sharing and starting school literary magazines. Outside of school, I co-founded Writers On Wheels, planning destination workshops to inspire other writers.
State and national conferences have given me access to top educators and YA authors from around the country, all sharing hints and tips of the writing world. I've worked on their novel edits and book launch promotions.
I now write for my own enjoyment, favoring historical fiction and the YA genre (how could I not after all those years with teenagers!). My Creative Writing MFA from Full Sail University gave me experience writing screenplays. I am using my teaching experience to write curriculum programs and edit grants. I am open to content and B2B writing as I have the time and energy to do the research.
