As a child, my parents forbade me to touch the family camera, so here we are.
A film producer with experience in fiction and nonfiction film and video production and a photographer/editor.
At 15 years old, I started doing digital photography and editing. Then transitioned into shooting video and editing impressions of my everyday surroundings. After I graduated from high school, I attended the New Bulgarian University with a Film and Television major and found some of my best friends and present colleagues. A year passed, but I needed something more. Secretly from my family and friends, I applied to the National Academy of Film and Theater Arts and got in.
At 22 years old, I won my first national funding section and produced my first short film.
Currently, I am in my final fourth year with a major in Film and Television Production at the Academy, and I am a teaching assistant in the Film Arts department. I've worked on several film productions which I've listed in my CV, and I'm attaching my photography/editing portfolio. You can also see a film poster that I've drawn myself.
I am excellent at budget management, scheduling and coordination of shoots, hiring members of production crew, revising script.
Collaborating with directors and writers at early bird stages of production. Developing projects and raising funds. Selected locations, secured approval for land/properties at lower cost. Conducted technical and creative research in order to achieve high-quality production through all stages. Managed 30+ crew members.
No matter the size of the project, I work with the same passion and dedication. My first priority is to make sure everyone is satisfied with the job we've done and get more inspired for the next time. Let's make something good together.
Work Terms
I prefer communicating through email.
As for working hours, I work on a project basis, which means that I don't have a secured working schedule and make my own program depending on my deadlines. I don't work more than 8 hours a day.
