An architectural designer with a creative, thoughtful, dedicated and detailed approach to all projects, no matter the scale or program.
Context-based, human-scale, sustainable, adaptable.
After having graduated at the top of her class from the University of Toronto's prestigious John H. Daniels' School of Architecture and Design with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture Design and Architecture History, Theory, and Criticism, Kylie pursued her interest of designing large-scale, public space developments with the Futures Factory project in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Her interests lie primarily within the field of urban design, imagining how cities can be designed to suit the lives of its' users, adapt to new climate factors, and work in harmony with the natural world. An environmentalist, every project Kylie undertakes is considered through the lens of sustainability and adaptability. But first and foremost, she believes architecture can and should be a catalyst for social change, social justice, and the common good. She designs spaces thoughtfully and carefully. She designs spaces for people, encouraging their health, well-being, and interconnection.
With experience designing everything from high-end interiors for upscale residential villas, to cost-effective solutions for social housing; from concept designs for an intimate bar space, to the full realization of a downtown urban development; from old-age homes to homes for the disabled to family homes, she considers the user first, designing spaces to provide them with ease and opportunity. Through these varied past projects, she has the experience and skills necessary to complete any project, no matter the scale or program, within the set timeframe and to your complete satisfaction.
Her primary skills include thoughtful design and concept development, detailed 2D architectural drafting, and beautiful 3D renders. She is well versed in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, the Adobe Suite, Lumion, and Revit. With a dedicated and creative approach to problem-solving, she works until a solution is found which fully satisfies your wants and needs. She looks forward to working alongside you to realize your dreams.
