All great design s are Simple but not all simple design are good

I hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Madison and have over 20 years of product design & development experience with General Electric. I hold over 30 patents with the majority of them being implemented into released product. I specialize in clean sheet of paper concept development. I have extensive knowledge of manufacturing/machining practices and excel at design for manufacturing.

Work Terms

My hourly rate depends on the type of working being requested and ranges from $25/hr for simple CAD rendering to $55/hr for finite element or other structural/thermal modeling services. The work I take on is based on whether I find it interesting or challenging to me or I think it is something I can easily fit into my schedule. I am open to project that are small or large. For projects that require a little bit of everything Design/CAD/Analysis I will charge a flat rate for the project with agreed upon deliverable or milestones that trigger payment. I prefer to be paid through Paypal mainly for small jobs) but other payment terms can be negotiated.
