I copyedit with invisibility to support the author's style and tone
I am newly graduated and eager to prove my ability in the publishing world. I graduated from Minnesota State University of Moorhead, dual-majoring in English and mass communications with a certificate in publishing. I have completed various copyediting duties; such as compiling short stories into anthologies, editing and proofreading review requests for authors, proofreading college entry essays, college level English essays, etc. I am familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style and the Associated Press. I edited the short story collection Dispensations by Randolph Thomas and collaborated with authors on many books through New Rivers Press, a small publishing house based in Moorhead, MN. Other published books I have worked on include American Fiction Vol. 13, American Fiction Vol. 14, Invasives by Brandon Krieg, The Floating Lady of Lake Tawaba by Chris Belden, and Oddly Beautiful by Madelyne Camrud
