?It’s pretty hard to describe myself –My name is Syeda Laraib Shabbir, I’m 21 years old 3D artist from Islamabad I love art. Doesn’t matter if it’s digital art, traditional art, 3D or 2D, animation or music… I simply love art. And that passion has always motivated me to keep pushing my limits and to always be looking for more knowledge and improving myself as an artist.
The work of Walt Disney always influenced me from my childhood, I joined Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi, I am doing Bachelors in computer arts. I choose 3D Animation as my majors. During my summer vacations I did internships for gaining my experience at Unicorn black. I worked there for 3 months, one of the most important things that I’ve learned there was that “everyone has something to learn, everyone has something to teach”. This simple sentence works like a mantra for me, it helps me to be more professional and respectful with my teammates, have more appreciation for teamwork and never put my ego before other people’s opinions. After that in summer 2015 I joined Inovadors as a freelancer intern and made a promotional video for their product service and edited video for their website.
I’m passionate about what I do – and there is no way to keep a long face while you’re doing something enjoyable! So even with short deadlines and working under pressure, I always try to keep the good mood in everything I do. If you’re working with passion and joy, there’s no way to get bothered with what you’re doing.
My long term goals are to become an established and respected artist within my field and to further hone my skills. I would love to hold a lead position, such as an Art Director. I really want to contribute to the continuous improvement of the industry and in securing its high standards
