I'm just a girl behind a keyboard with a lot of honest things to say

The short version is I am a former high performance athlete; I moved away for university at 18; started a blog and caught the writing bug; finished my degree and was a snowboard bum; headed home to help care for my mother when she was diagnosed with brain cancer; laid on the couch for 5 months after she died; spent two years in a job that made me miserable; worked in England in a cafe for three months and loved every minute of it; travelled Europe; returned to Canada; stayed in restaurants; started a food blog; moved to rural Manitoba; got a "real job"; am miserable; need to write.
