As a Certified Professional Coach, Laura's skills include career and executive coaching, leadership skills, identifying personal patterns, developing emotional intelligence, improving working relationships, and fostering rational thinking processes. Her clients benefit from improved self-knowledge and accountability toward finding a brand new career or improving workplace social and thinking habits. Laura subscribes to the Gestalt philosophy that the client is the best expert on him- or herself; the coach merely brings out that buried knowledge and helps put it into action. She is happy to share any relevant insights that she has picked up from academic and professional experience. She holds the ICF ACC credential, and her career coaching certification is underway.

Laura received her Master's in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in 2008 and was a member of Psi Chi, the national honor society for psychology students. After two years of working with therapy clients as an intern at clinical sites, she switched to executive coaching due to the action-oriented and systemic nature of the work and has worked with paying clients since then. She graduated from the International Coach Academy's Certified Professional Coach Program (executive niche) in 2010, and completed her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in the spring of 2013. Laura is currently working with a web developer to create a service for individuals and organizations to hire and work with executive coaches via the Internet. Her hobbies and interests include singing, health and supplements, and animals. She resides in the Park City, Utah area with her loving spouse Kevin and three dogs.
