As an altruistic person with an insatiable desire to help people, I am looking for fulfilling work where I can make a difference in other people's lives.
I am currently a Business Management Student at Staffordshire University, with a passion for Social Sciences, Education, and Curriculum Design. I regularly attend online networking events hosted by professionals from a range of sectors, around the globe. My enthusiasm and passion for learning, has allowed me to develop a lifelong learning mindset: I am currently studying 'School Health for Children and Adolescence' with the University of Colorado, 'Global Education' with the Open University, as well as a vast range of LinkedIn Learning courses from Business and Psychology to instructional design.
I am a conscientious person, with personal drive, which allows me to prioritise important tasks, pay close attention to details, remain organised and plan ahead. When faced with a challenge I take initiative, which requires resilience and determination. Both personally and professionally I am dependable, ensuring I produce the highest standard of work. This allows me to become a valuable member of any team and build valuable professional relationships.
In 2020 I launched my own brand, called 'Future Luminaries' where I sell educational resources online to global educators. This summer I am to branch out and set up a mental health brand that aims to empower young people, raise awareness of mental health challenges and reduce the stigma that surrounds it.
This year I have also achieved my Microsoft Office Specialist accreditations, which evidences my digital literacy skills.
As the Business Ambassador in college, I worked collaboratively with students and teachers to help improve the department and introduce more opportunities for students. For example, I established a club for younger students, where I mentored them through the process of starting their own small businesses in groups.
This year I have engaged in several virtual internships, most notibly with Teach Australia and Think Pacific.
