I am professional accountant having CMA certification as Registered Cost Accountant, in-line with Institute of Accounting Technician as Certified Accounting Technician. I have high level of Command on Excel and utilize advance formulas. I had worked in Finance Department as accountant for total of 7 years wherein I had gained adequate training, knowledge and skills in operating accounting platforms and systems such as peachtree and myob needless to say interpreting financial results. On the other hand, I am able to do manual procedures of accounting/bookkeeping.
I’d really describe myself as a person with versatile skill-set, reliable, and a willingness to go the extra mile to satisfy a client. Perhaps the best way to let you know what I’m about is to share you a quick experience I had. When I was hired to work in Micronesia, I never thought that I would deal with tons of paper, back dated records for 2 years. The place was too distant to technology, no accounting system all the transactions are running in manual formats. I immediately prompted my previous employer to secure one accounting system to help us in maintaining all our records. Facing all of these scenarios, we received state notice of audit in six month time. Meanwhile, I had done manual recording. It was really difficult to carry on 3years back dated Financial Reports with a state audit up front. It was a relief and at the same time accomplishments beating due dates and was able to get compliance audit findings. Was able to set up taxation, state declarations, payroll system, inventor system connected in Financial statement using excel. My previous employer was amazed and happy I was able to do everything in less than a year not to mention that we are already dealing with current transactions. Now I’m looking to take my career to the next level. I’d like to build a long term career that lets me focus on professional growth.
