I am a veteran film/television editor and imaging expert, and I bring a seasoned perspective and vibrant creativity to any project.
I grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado. I loved making home movies as a child in the 1980s. I made a few short comedy films with my friends as a young kid. Later, I luckily landed an internship at a cable television network, Scripps Howard. They let me get my hands on any piece of equipment I wanted! So, I became the go-to guy for all of the local projects, from high school football games to city council meetings. This early experience led to several other great opportunities in the industry. I ended up at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA where I fine-tuned my skillset. As I evolved as a professional editor, I was certified on AVID in 1997 and was editing corporate video at Coors Brewing Company for my first major professional staff position. Then I worked with Warren Miller Entertainment for several years and edited several episodic television shows there, and even worked on some of the big ski films, like "Warren Miller's Fifty". I also freelanced on a wide array of projects in this time period, such as "Dream House" and "Secret Gardens", both HGTV television shows. Later on, I also edited on national television shows "Hawaii Five-O" and "Blue Bloods".
