Hi! My name is Leigh Mardovich, and I am the owner of T & C Proofreading. I started my proofreading journey in early 2020, – “new decade, new me!” – and I am so excited for this new adventure.

An avid reader who constantly spots errors in books, I decided, after much thought, to take my skills to a professional level. Reading is one of my favorite hobbies, and I only realized I could use this love to help my career after stumbling upon the website proofreadanywhere.com. Through this course, I further developed skills I already had to begin gaining the experience needed to pursue a career in proofreading. With a business degree from Boston College and a master’s degree in education from Hofstra University, I already had a solid background that had helped me to develop and refine my proofreading skills. In addition, I currently own a small retail business with an emphasis on superior customer service. In my business, timely responses and deadlines are extremely important, and I am confident that I will be able to provide my proofreading clients with the same level of service. I am hard working, motivated, dedicated, and thorough, and I am excited to gain much more experience with my new proofreading clients.

For those of you wondering a bit about my personal life — I live on Long Island with my soon-to-be husband and my two dogs: a Rottweiler named Tessa and a Puggle named Callie. If you haven’t guessed it yet, my company is named after my two fur babies!
