I have a lot of experience in translating/localizing technical documents, software, and manuals as well as a wide variety of areas, such as news briefs, memorandums, business/private letters & emails, website content, traveler's guide, immigration, apps, games.
I am a Japanese - English bilingual, experienced linguist living in the USA. I have been working with several reputable translation companies in the USA, England, Japan, and Germany, and with American publishers as a Japanese-English translator/editor/proofreader and evaluator.

Work Terms
The rates in 2018 are:
English Japanese Translation only $ 0.15-0.20/word,
Editing (revision) only $ 0.06-0.08/word
Translation + Editing (revision) $0.18-0.25/word
(depending on the level of technicality and complexity, format, etc.)
Proofreading (monolingual)/other $ 40/hr (USD)
