ESL-friendly academic copyeditor

I am a native English speaker, and have been teaching and tutoring English and ESL for the past 24 years. This has given me the unique gift of learning the particulars and intricacies of my native language (English). Not only have I taught non-native speakers, but I have also spent the last seven years teaching English Composition, Creative Writing, Professional/Business Writing, Communications, MS Office, and APA documentation. As a graduate-level thesis advisor, I have guided master's students through the arduous tasks of research and the production of their graduation requirements.

My strengths lie in writing/ghostwriting, proofreading, editing, formatting/reformatting, research, academic writing, APA documentation, and non-fiction writing. I enjoy writing blog postings and reports as well. I have been writing grants since 2002, mostly at the state level but also for for-profit businesses.

I've re-written personal dating ads for busy executives, re-worked emails for tone and clarity, and developed textbook glossaries from a large corpus.
