I'm a committed writer with decades of experience. I'm a professor of English and Creative writing. I've taught for over 20 years. I'm on the MFA Board of St Mary's College of California.

I have written 3 novels and two books of poetry and a children's history book. Been widely published in literary journals. Have won scholarships and fellowships for my talents. Raised 3 children while getting my M.A. at UC Davis. Committed to helping students in the community such as veterans at the largest Vet's home in America, etc. Won grants to do so.Also take care of my elderly mother and our historical ranch in the Napa Valley. Have completed writing for hire projects such as helping a woman write a book on her daughter's death from anorexia, another being a ghost writer on the Black experience and Vietnam and prison life. Would gladly give references.

Will do what is needed promptly and efficiently. Will steadily keep in contact with employer.I have much free time as I am only teaching part time now. My work habits are excellent. I write each day for hours. I take on projects that sometimes don't necessarily pay well. I simply love the art of writing. It is a journey of discovery. Nothing I would rather do than bask in words!
