I have worked in the corporate world for many years, in admin roles, temp support positions, and full time in marketing and sales departments. Big companies and small organizations, within each I have a learned that good listening skills, assertiveness, and integrity are key. In the virtual world, especially, communication about expectations is essential.
I have worked in Europe and have working knowledge of German, French, and Italian, which has helped tremendously with English grammar (who knew??) and I have an odd gift for spotting typos on billboards and public signs. I have a strong tendency toward efficiency in all things, getting things done with the fewest wasted steps (which helps when billing hours). I have been fortunate to have ridden the tech wave, and had access to guidance and coaching within the Microsoft ranks, and have mastered each version of the MS Office/Windows OS upon release, now using a MacBook.
