I remember my college Physics exam where I had to write an essay on the nature of light. I sat there for a moment as my mind regurgitated the text book jargon, and decided that my final grade had some wiggle room for a creative approach. So I took the basic particles of light and I gave them names and backstories. I used the principles of light as motivations and challenges to overcome. I put them all on a quest for interplanetary dominance, and held my breath as I turned in my exam. When I got it back, my teacher had written in large green letters, “You're funny, but you'll never be a Physicist.” He also gave me an A-. Ever since that day, I knew I wanted to be a writer. I worked hard to achieve an MFA in Creative Writing, and
spent the last eight years refining my craft. I know I will be the perfect candidate for any related project because I love what I do, and I am passionate about my work.

Over the past several years, I have had a series of short stories and academic papers published. I am currently looking for an agent for my first full-length book, a creative non-fiction piece. I have been commissioned to write several technical documents and creative advertising copy, in addition to pieces for online and print environments. As an Editor, I have worked on academic papers, technical documents, event manuals, manuscripts, business proposals, and marketing campaigns.
