New to guru, looking to prove what I can do.

I have a BS in Animal Science and am a registered Veterinary Technician with 14 years of experience. I took care of pets and their owners during times of duress. I also was responsible for the inventory of the entire hospital: medicines, x-ray film, oxygen tanks, and vaccines, etc.
I quit work to raise my daughter, who is now in High school and quite independent. I grew up in a Christian church and am currently an active Elder there (Presbytery).
I can usually look at a physical object and figure out how to duplicate it i.e. clay figures, wood-work. I am the handy-woman in my home and can fix plumbing, do some sewing, cook, bake and garden.
I've never done voice over work, except putting voices to storybooks for bedtime reading. I can edit essays, books, and can critique artwork constructively; I AM a mom after all.

Work Terms

I can work from 8am to 3pm Pacific time, Monday through Friday, when school is in session. I prefer communicating by telephone because I share my computer with my daughter and husband who hog it the rest of the time.
