I have been a freelance writer for 13years. I started my career as a first grade elementary teacher but transitioned to the field of recruiting in 2007 and added a writing component to my services in 2009.

Writing has long been my passion and I derive a great deal of professional and personal satisfaction in preparing content that drives readership and engagement. It's always daunting to face the blank page but once the flow starts, time disappears and I as I let the words fly.

I have a wide range of interests, including photo-art, cycling, and volunteering with as tutor and with et rescue organizations. I am also a voracious reader with a fairly wide reading interest to include business profiles, legal thrillers, memoir, and social science.

Work Terms

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Payment terms: I am flexible for fixed price or hourly depending on the nature of the writing assignment.

Process: As noted above, I place strong value on communication and collaboration, especially within a remote working environment. I start every project with a kick -off call to discuss all aspects of the project as this serves to manage each side's expectations and set up the project for success.
