Seasoned paralegal with expertise in discovery, research, document preparation, and trial or hearing preparation.
I started working in the paralegal field in 1999 when I graduated with an associate's degree in paralegal studies. In my 20 years as a paralegal, I have worked for the King County Prosecutor's Office, the Office of the King County Executive (Labor Relations), the City of Bellevue Attorney's Office, and the Washington State Attorney General's Office (Campaign Finance).
In the past year, I have taken time off to develop a small business and to enjoy being a small scale hobby farmer. While these are immensely satisfying pursuits, I would like to keep my paralegal skills sharp in this economy that is changing fast.
I have a husband and a 14-year-old son, and we live on a five-acre spread with our two dogs and two cats. We may even get chickens soon.
Work Terms
The hours I prefer to work are Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00, although I am flexible. I need to be able to work remotely at this time.
