I'm a native English-speaking American, and have been transcribing for 18 years -- medical, insurance, YouTube videos, interviews, academic lectures, seminars, telephone conversations and dictations. Most recently, I've been transcribing videos for closed captioning purposes.

I'm also a former newspaper editor, so editing and proofing are among my skills.

Work Terms

I prefer to work Monday through Friday, 9 to 4 Eastern Time, although I am open to special circumstances. For transcription, my fee is $1 per audio minute for clear audio without foreign accents. I prefer to use Word documents.
