I'm a FW/HW design engineer with a long experience on firmware development.
I started my working experience in 1982 programming controllers for industrial automation.
The first microprocessor I used was the RCA 1802 then I've worked with a lot of devices ( Motorola , Microchip, Atmel , Silicon Lab, Freescale, Intel etc. ).
I started programming PLC for the control of factory production machines then I've worked 5 years with the Italian national electricity board where I was involved in the automation of the electrical power grid. In the following I've opened a consulting room and developed a lot of control firmware for important multinational firms like Invensys control, Emerson , Carlo Gavazzi.
I've a good experience in hardware design too, on my firm site "www.ddlelettronica.it" is described a induction heating machine that I fully designed ( hardware and firmware) and built some prototypes.
