A passion for writing to connect with people

Writing is my passion and has always been a big part of my working life.

I have worked for government agencies at a federal and state government level, involving writing in many different forms. I have worked in the Australian Department of Defence in Canberra and the Victorian Department of Human Services in Melbourne. In these roles, I have written project proposals, reports, articles, internal communications documents, and policy documents. I have also developed internal web content for these organisations.

I worked for Qantas in the United Kingdom, where I wrote internal communications documents and developed job descriptions.

With a degree in law and arts from the University of Adelaide, I have experience in academic and legal writing.

I have traveled extensively and lived in London, Auckland (New Zealand) and Australia (Canberra and Melbourne) and have recently moved back to Adelaide, Australia. I have a young family and am happy to work flexible hours. I enjoy good coffee, a glass of wine and Asian food. I also like to go walking and hiking, to read and am also a fiction novelist.

Work Terms

I work flexible hours and am willing to work outside standard working hours in order to connect with your business. I charge $50 per hour.
