Use the Right Hook, and Write the Right Words!
A Florida author, editor and facilitator with thirty years of experience within the writing industry, Lizbeth is a member of Word Weavers International, a critique group, and attends the FCWC (Florida Christian Writers Conference), both of whom have helped hone her writing skills. Her books may be sampled on Amazon, or on her website.
Lizbeth is the author of a spine tingling suspense, Fuel For The Fire, and has just completed the sequel, Blood & Fire. Her children's book, The Easter Puppy, is illustrated with PhotoShopped photos from her personal collection.
In Hartford, Connecticut, she wrote feature stories for Connecticut Today and Entertainment News , crafting biographies, travel articles, restaurant reviews and informative news on topics as diverse as chimney cleaning and the then new Civic Center.
Later, on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Lizbeth interviewed active senior citizens as a journalist for Vitality. Cover stories included the donator of Cape Cod Hospital's emergency wing, the commander of the local Civil Air Patrol and many others. She also researched and wrote advertorials for MD News on the history of Mercedes Benz, laser treatment for myopia, the health benefits of hot tubs and other interesting topics.
You know the old adage: "a lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client?" That could easily apply to writing as well - good reason to be a part of a critique group and hire an editor whether it's me or someone else.
Lizbeth brings dedication and professionalism to every project she engages. The right word written in the right way at the right place is the difference between excellence and mediocrity.
"My promise is that I will give your project the same consideration I would give my own. Your goal is now mine. Your deadline and word count are also mine. When you trust me with your job, the project is mine until I complete it and hand it back to you."
