I love a challenge and often get so immersed in my work that while I work to please my clients, I enjoy going the extra mile to ensure that the quality of my work satisfies myself as well.
I am an electrical engineer with a background in computer science and software engineering. I have worked on projects ranging from electrical and firmware on robots to software desktop applications to cloud-computing services. I enjoy a wide variety of projects from designing printed circuit boards for alarm clocks and robots to creating a checkers game in MATLAB to design work in CAD with considerations for the appropriate manufacturing techniques.
I have experience with a variety of basic microcontrollers in the Arduino family as well as some experience with STM and TI microcontrollers. I have also worked with single-board computers including Raspberry Pi's.
I have experience with a handful of programming languages, being most proficient in Python, but with experience in C, C++, C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MATLAB, and assembly. I enjoy using these languages on a wide range of projects including study tools for classes, games, basic web apps, analytic tools, and integration tools.
I also have mechanical design and analysis experience with CAD for sensor mounts to machining experience with a mill to make bicycle parts to performing analysis on a 6 DOF robotic arm.
I use my experience with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to approach design as a whole, rather than being biased in favor of any one discipline at the expense of the others.
