Around 10 years of experience and a confident and highly organized administrative professional with experience in multiple roles and area. Areas of expertise includes Indexing, Underwriting, Managing Medical Records, Leading a team as a Head of Department, Medical Laboratory Scientist and also as a Assessment Officer to assess new student application forms to Curtin University.
As a HOD for Medical Records Department, I setup and maintain records, incorporating critical information and running high quality reports and analyses in the requisite style and format. Besides, I also work on ICD coding. As a Head of Department, i also conduct interviews to determine a good match whenever there is an open position in the department. I am also an experienced Indexer, where I review documents and compile Indexes to make information searches easier. I have good writing and editing skills with a proven track of record in a well-known publication company. I have very strong attention to details where ties in well with writing and editing skills. I'm also able to find information on a given topic quickly and easily. As an Indexer, I've worked on many New Zealand and Australian Tax and Legal Cases. Besides this, I am also an experienced Medical Underwriter for a well-known Insurance company, where I draft policies for personal healthcare insurance. My responsibilities here includes reviewing insurance documents to determine whether an offer of health insurance should be made, determining insurance types and limits, and calculating premium costs. Being involved in multiple roles in the past has nurtured my experience and also enhanced problem-solving skills. I am looking forward to expand my horizons and venture into more challenging roles.
