After earning my BA from The Ohio State University, I attended graduate school at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, earning a Master of Fine Arts in Writing. My work appears in various print and online journals, including The Battered Suitcase, Newfound, and BlazeVox 14. My first short story collection placed in the Laine Cunningham Novel [and book length manuscript] Competition in 2014. My short story titled "One Night with Val" received and Honorable Mention in Glimmer Train's New Writer Award in 2017. When I'm not writing fiction, I edit and critique manuscripts for fellow creatives.
