I strongly believe art is the great unifier among people, having the opportunity to work in a creative service capacity is both my passion and purpose.

My name is Lori Wike I am a Graphic Designer/Visual Arts Educator with several years
experience in software game development and print production. My objective is to acquire a position using my knowledge of design, layout, production, 2D/ 3D computer illustration, and animation in a creative service or educational environment.

I am experienced with remote Instruction, developing curriculum, exemplars, video media and other material in multiple languages to best support my students. Although the challenges of providing quality and engaging lessons on the remote platform are numerous, I have embraced this form of instruction and have gained a multitude of techniques to provide engaging and effective instruction to all students.

Teaching is a second career for me. Prior to my time spent as an educator, I worked in various creative service organizations ranging from software game develop to print collateral publications. My duties ranged from created 3D for 2D GUI and in-game art/animation, the development of art for various sports games for PC and console platforms; the development of spot illustration, technical illustration, textbook design and page layout, and channeling said materials through all phases of production. I Interfaced directly with outside vendors for commissioned art, evaluating vendor style and matching with appropriate client/project.

I am experienced with production and supervision, including lead position of a 5-person prepress composition department. Duties included the preparation/correction of all client supplied electronic DTP files for Linotronic output, job scheduling and work flow review, hiring and training of in house staff, developed job tracking /client data base system to maintain print specifications for ISO 9000 certified clientele. Assisted sales by directly interfacing with potential customers, highlighting capabilities and functions of prepress department.
