For the last ten years, I have employed myself doing freelance telecommuting work, including web programming, design, and Linux administration contracts. I am currently looking for stable, long-term employment in a field that will benefit from my experience and will provide me with learning opportunities and personal challenges. My wife tells me I'm terrible at selling myself, so please assume that I'm much better than I state here.
I have a solid grasp of current technologies used in Web design and Web programming, from server environments, application development, design and deployment, to the elements of front-end design and usability. I am constantly updating my skill-set to adapt to new challenges. I am most proud of my extensive knowledge of the Drupal Content Managment System. I have strong communication skills, both written and oral. I am likeable, flexible, and work well with others. I am responsible, self-directed, organized, analytical and intelligent. I excel at problem-solving.
Work Terms
I live in the Pacific time zone, but I work from home, so my hours are flexible. I am currently asking $40/hour, but I can be flexible there, too, within reason.
