Bridging the gap between management and technical teams.
I am a systems architect and information security consultant with over 15 years of professional experience. I am certified as a CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+).
From building secure-by-design architectures for on-premises or cloud-based network-oriented applications, to developing security policies, performing risk assessments or security audits and training both technical and non-technical staff, my skillset could be valuable in both short, advice-oriented consultations or long-term projects.
I have a strong technical background, starting off with low-level network application development for telecommunications (C and Python) and building on to highly-resilient systems design, project management and information security management.
I have taken on the roles of:
* subject matter expert (with extensive expertise in network and communications protocols, GNU/Linux internals, security protocols and best-practices);
* trainer (for both technical and non-technical staff);
* security professional (building security policies, standards and procedures, performing risk assessments and audits);
* project manager (for technical teams).
I am passionate about security and I can help align information security with your business objectives, ensuring that decisions are technically sound, while fitting in with your requirements and budgets.
Work Terms
I prefer to have an initial conversation (audio and/or video) about your requirements and discuss the best way that I could be of service to your organisation. I do not charge for this.
My work hours, albeit flexible, are 09:00 to 18:00 GMT. I work on both fixed-price, fixed-term projects, as well as an on hourly basis, even for short, on-demand consultations.
