A well accomplished customer focused sales and business development solutions consultant and engineer who is driven to deliver value to clients and employers

I am a well accomplished sales and business development executive, entrepreneur and solutions consultant with over 23 years’ experience in the broad ICT sector. I have worked in a number of hands-on and management roles covering optic fibre, VSAT/satellite, wireless/microwave and broadcasting technologies in various positions including Regional Sales Director, Senior Key Accounts Manager, Business Development Consultant and Executive. In these roles I have earned wide-ranging experience in operational and general management including business development, sales and marketing, finance (budget preparations, reviews and controls), technical, human resources management as well as project management. I also particularly have experience of selling data services, solutions and products to telecommunication operators, ISPs, enterprises and governments in the Sub Saharan Africa region. I have developed a very good network and contacts of influencers, decision makers and stakeholders in Telco’s, ISP’s and government organisations not only in South Africa but in Eastern, Central and Southern Africa as well. I have worked on and have been involved with projects and business transactions of various sizes and value up to several hundreds of millions of rands. I have the ability and skills to identify and initiate new business development opportunities and go through the various stages of negotiations, putting together solution proposal documents right through to closing the business opportunities and managing the implementation. I also have the experience of responding to RFPs and preparing tender documents as well as evaluation or adjudication of tenders. Added to that I am experienced in carrying out research and development initiatives, complex consultancy work as well as analysing technology trends. Work Terms

I work flexible hours during the day and night to ensure agreed milestones and deliverables are met and also to accommodate geographic regional time differences. Payment terms are negotiable but should always be agreed upfront. My communication style accommodates most forms of communicate convenient to the clients and this can include telephonic, skype, emails and messaging
